Regular Pilates classes held in our Studio
About Emma
Emma has practised Pilates since 2002 and is a qualified Mat Level 3 Pilates instructor, trained under the renowned Pilates trainer Michael King (MKPilates) and regularly attends training courses to ensure she is refreshed and up to date.
Emma is passionate about the benefits Pilates can bring to all ages and believes that Pilates increases a self-awareness of our bodies that makes us think about how we move and hold ourselves.
Emma positively encourages her clients not just to think about Pilates whilst in class but to take the principles of Pilates into everyday life.
Why Pilates?
Pilates is a method of exercise designed to strengthen and balance the body and mind. Pilates is practised through a series of controlled and precise movements linking the breath with every movement.
Pilates focuses on developing muscle strength as well as mobilising our spine and joints, which in turn is highly effective in improving our posture and deep core muscles, as well as keeping the body flexible and agile.
