A 2016 taping of the universally acclaimed Broadway musical based on the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical, featuring hip-hop, R&B, pop, soul, and theatre showtunes, was written by and starred Lin-Manuel Miranda. The story follows Hamilton’s involvement in the American Revolution, the young nation’s early political struggles, as well Hamilton’s marriage, rivalries, and his interactions with Aaron Burr.
