The annual Hay Festival will run from the 21st to the 31st May this year, with a wide range of artists, thinkers, activists and commentators visiting from across Britain and the world.

This year, the programme includes a number of renowned visitors, such as Nobel Peace Price laureate Malala Yousafzai, inventor of the World Wide Web Sir Tim Berners-Lee, and Academy-Award-winning actress Emma Thompson, among many others.
