Hidden amongst the leaves of a book, a personalised note was left, presumably forgotten from when it was last studied. Dated 20th June 1969, the letter is addressed to Mr Fisher from Mr Ferns, a sub-manager of the Newcastle upon Tyne branch of Westminster Bank. The letter itself was typed on a manual typewriter, and details Mr Fisher’s request to withdraw £10 per week whilst on holiday being declined due to having only £3 in his account.
