Psychology and Religion: West and East

C. G. Jung

Religion is a major theme- it could almost be said to be the predominant theme- throughout Jung’s writings, and many of the works included in the present volume are among his most important. Part One of the book is on western religion, and opens with a chapter entitled Psychology and Religion which Jung first presented as the Terry Lectures at Yale University. In this study, one of the most widely known of his works, Jung is concerned with the relations of medieval alchemy and Christianity, and of both with modern psychology.
